In the three seasons since IU started using the spread offense the tight end position has been focused primarily on blocking responsibilities. This spring the Hoosier staff went about changing that by making the tight end an integral part of the passing game. With this new change in philosophy Indiana is looking for tight ends that can not only put their hand down and block, but can also line up in the slot and create mismatches downfield.
