JAMAICA QUEENS, N.Y.-Devin Ebanks, the East Coast's No. 1 undeclared
senior basketball prospect, has until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday to announce
and sign with either West Virginia, Rutgers, Memphis or Texas, and it
may take that long, according to the man who is leading his recruitment.

"He's not going to play in the (is8/NIKE Championships here) on Saturday
because he's graduating that day. I'm not sure he will announce on
Sunday," said advisor Lawrence (Larry) McGugins. McGugins and Ebanks'
mother, Yvonne Jackson, are assisting the 6-foot-9, 210-pound
guard-forward through his final days of the late spring signing period.
