Cotton steps up at day two of Elite 11
The second day of the EA Sports Elite 11 camp in Aliso Viejo, Ca., saw Auburn quarterback commitment Raymond Cotton step up his play according to Rivals.com recruiting analyst Barry Every.
"I think in the last hour of day two, they're out there about two hours, he really started coming along and had better spin on his ball," said Every.
Following day one of the camp, quarterback coach Tee Martin told AuburnSports.com that Cotton needed to improve on his footwork.
Every said Wednesday that Cotton has some catching up to do with the other quarterbacks in that area, which may be partly due to his lack of experience running the drills as opposed to some of the more seasoned signal callers competing in the four-day camp.
