Deon Long is the only slot receiver yet to commit to the West Virginia Mountaineer football program for the freshman class of 2009.

Though the Mountaineers are in the thick of the race for Baltimore's Tavon Austin and several others, Long pledged to WVU's Bill Stewart and lead recruiter Chris Beatty after the Gold-Blue scrimmage in April.
