Wildcats the favorite of three-star Bell
East Grand Rapids (Mich.) athlete Robert Bell started off his senior season in fine fashion last Thursday, helping lead his team to a 49-14 win over Orchard Lake St. Mary's in what was a rematch of last year's Division 3 state title game that the Pioneers also won. The 5-11, 225-pound Bell is a three-star prospect and the No. 16 player in the state of Michigan. He plays fullback on offense and middle linebacker on defense for the Pioneers. Thursday evening he carried the ball six times for 49 yards and caught a two-point conversion. He also paved the way for running back Joe Glendening's 133 yards from his fullback position. Defensively Bell registered three solo tackles.
