White nursing 'head ding,' Jenkins out
MORGANTOWN--Bill Stewart called last Saturday's 24-17 victory at home over Rutgers particularly hard-knocking, and now West Virginia is attempting to pick up the pieces in order to meet Syracuse (1-4 overall, 0-1), again at home.
Quarterback Pat White, who has been knocked out of back-to-back games with assorted injuries, "will play," according to Stewart, in Saturday's high-noon Homecoming encounter. However, were the game being played on Tuesday, No. 5 would be held out.
