Fla. defensive end ready for Iowa St. visit

A trio of Division I schools continue to lead for a standout defender from Niceville. Fla., and the battle figures to heat up this weekend when the defensive end makes his first official visit.

Iowa State, South Florida and North Carolina are the three schools leading in the pursuit of Luke Sager, a 6-foot-4, 240-pounder from the Florida high school ranks. He'll be on hand for this weekend's Big 12 tilt between ISU and Nebraska.

While the Cyclones get the chance to make a first impression on Sager, he indicated it will take some work to surpass his current favorite from his home state.

"South Florida is my favorite school so far," he said. "But I haven't seen Iowa State and North Carolina yet, so we'll see."
