Fla. defensive end summarizes ISU visit

It's shaping up to be a three-school race for Niceville (Fla.) defensive end Luke Sager. The three-star prospect, ranked as the no. 50 rush end in the country by Rivals.com, took his official visit to Iowa State this past weekend and has two others on his mind for later in the fall and winter.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound Sager went through all of the compulsory activities of an official visit while at ISU over the weekend. He had a positive review of it all afterwards.

"It was good I had a lot of fun," Sager said. "The main point of going up was that I wanted to see each school I am really serious about before I make my decision. I want to see the campuses and see the stadiums and just know what I am comparing."

Sager said Iowa State's 35-7 loss to Nebraska on Saturday didn't turn him off to the Cyclone program at all.

Sager has said previously that South Florida is his favorite and that has not changed. He said he plans to visit both USF and North Carolina State, but neither trip has been scheduled as of this time. Among the other schools that have offered Sager are Mississippi State, Ball State, East Carolina, FIU and ULL.
