Notre Dame won't catch Roderick Goodlow by surprise this weekend. Actually, it's the Irish that might be taken back by the 6-foot-2, 202-pound athlete when he steps on campus Friday for the start of his official visit. Notre Dame started recruiting the standout from W. H. Adamson High School as a potential linebacker but now sees Goodlow as a future safety.
