Everette Brown becoming FSU's sack artist
Junior defensive end Everette Brown is becoming a true sack artist.
The 6-foot-4, 252-pounder has amassed a staggering 12.5 sacks and 20.5 tackles for loss through 11 games. His sack total ranks second nationally and No. 1 in the ACC. He also leads the nation in tackles for loss.
With his combination of speed and agility, Brown has given opposing coaching staffs nightmares all season long, and last Saturday night's game in College Park, Md., was no exception. In leading FSU to a 37-3 victory, Brown collected five tackles, 3.5 sacks and forced a fumble.
On Sunday, he was named the Walter Camp national Defensive Player of the Week.
