He looked more like a wide receiver than a tight end when he verbally committed to Notre Dame in March of 2007. But Cincinnati's Kyle Rudolph added about 25 pounds in between his all-star game appearance in San Antonio and the start of fall practice, and quickly emerged as the front-runner at tight end when injuries and suspensions decimated the position.
