Auburn back in it for former QB commit?
The on-again, off-again relationship with Fort Meade (Md.) Meade four-star quarterback Raymond Cotton and Auburn is apparently on the heels of being on again.
Cotton was one of the first commitments in the Tigers' 2009 recruiting class, but began to back off of that pledge after the resignation of Tommy Tuberville earlier this month. After recruiter James Willis wasn't initially retained on new coach Gene Chizik's staff, Cotton officially decommitted and opened his recruitment back up.
Now that Willis has been rehired and the Tigers have added Gus Malzahn as offensive coordinator, Auburn appears it will have one last chance to sway Cotton back to the Orange and Blue.
