Jacobs excited about new offense

AuburnSports.com Brandon Jacobs got a glimpse of Auburn's new offense and he likes what he sees.
The Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview running back, who officially visited Auburn this weekend, got a preview of AU's offense in the GMAC Bowl as offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn led Tulsa to over 600 yards in a win over Ball State.
Tulsa's running backs accumulated over 400 yards.
"That running back -- they had over 400 rushing yards. That impresses me. I really liked watching that," Jacobs said. "They're going to run it a little more. Of course, they're going to throw. It's a versatile offense."
Jacobs said he also hit it off with new Auburn running backs coach Curtis Luper.
