KU hits road to take on Buffaloes
Conference play couldn't have started any better for the Kansas Jayhawks (12-4; 1-0), taking down their in-state rival Kansas State by 16 points in Lawrence, Kan. Not only was the win an important one for the second half of the season, but the Jayhawks finally received production from their newcomers. Tyshawn Taylor scored 20 points, one of his best performances to date. Now, Bill Self and company hit the road to the Boulder, Colo., to face the Colorado Buffalos (8-7; 0-1) who have started off the season rather rocky, including an embarrassing loss to conference foe Missouri.
A win Saturday could send Kansas on its way to a possible 6-0 start in Big 12 action, as their early portion of the schedule is favorable.
