Mississippi State will attempt something tonight that hasn't been done all season; winning in Baton Rouge.
LSU is currently 13-0 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on the year. But the Bulldogs have had recent success there winning their last two contests in the 13,215-seat facility.
LSU holds the advantage in the series 101-92 but the Bulldogs have won the last four games.
MSU comes into the game atop the Southeastern Conference Western Division with a 3-0 mark. The Bulldogs are also 13-5 on the season. They are averaging 75.7 points per game and shooting 46.7-percent from the floor. State is hitting 38.1-percent of its perimeter shots and 69.6-percent from the free throw line. The Bulldogs are outrebounding their opponents by 1.1 this season and holding them to an average 64.8 points.
