Welcome To KU: Huldon Tharp
Huldon Tharp's senior season at Mulvane (KS) High School didn't quite play out as he envisioned. The 6-foot-0, 208-pound outside linebacker torn his ACL last summer, which prevented the three-star prospect from taking the field with his teammates. However, the injury didn't put an end to Tharp's football career, as he inked with Kansas on Wednesday. Why did the No. 6 raked player in the state sign with KU? Does the three-star prospect have a nickname, if so what? Jayhawk Slant has the answers.
Favorite football memory?
During my sophomore season, I can still remember scoring the winning touchdown against our biggest a rival, Wellington. It was also the biggest rushing game I had in terms of yards. I rushed for over 270 yards that game. Scoring the winning touchdown against our rivals was a big deal.
