Bishop puts on a show
Jordan Bishop is used to putting on shows.
A perfect example of this was the 2008 Les Schwab Bowl. The 6-foot-3, 195 pound wide receiver caught five passes for 51 yards and two touchdowns to help lead the South team to a 24-6 victory.
Both of Bishop's TD catches were of the spectacular sort where he used his explosive jumping ability and solid hands to separate himself from defenders and come down with the ball.
His efforts earned him South MVP honors and capped off his illustrious prep career. As a senior at West Salem High School, not only was he a first-team all-conference selection at receiver and cornerback, but a first-team all-state selection at WR.
Despite the accolades, the only schools to offer Bishop scholarships early on were Portland State, Eastern Washington, Idaho and Montana State. But OSU made his decision an easy one when it offered him one just weeks before signing day.
