AU coaches make stops at area schools
Auburn's tour through the state of Alabama evaluating recruits continued Wednesday as the Tigers made stops at several local schools.
The tour, deemed the "Tiger Prowl", which consists of the maximum allowed seven coaches, visited Central High School in Phenix City, Smiths Station, Auburn, Opelika, Stanhope Elmore and Prattville.
Those schools are home to several top recruits including four-star cornerback DeMarcus Milliner (Stanhope Elmore), four-star running back Corey Grant (Opelika), Sam Gibson and Nick Perry (Prattville), and several targets at Central and Auburn.
One of the coaches' first stops was Opelika, home to Grant, one of the state's top overall recruits and one of the top 250 in the country, according to Rivals.com.
