West Virginia has been trying to get into the "wide open" derby for Michigan quarterback Robert Bolden for some time and apparently is making some headway.

"I get some time off in June about the time Robert gets out of school and we plan on coming down to Virginia and West Virginia," Robert Bolden Sr. said by telephone Monday afternoon. "He has plenty of offers and it's wide open right now."
