A&M makes big impressions on Lewis, Hurd
The NCAA has plenty of limitations on college football's spring evaluation process. From the number of coaches on the road at one time to the number of weeks out of the six-week period an individual coach can be on the road to a number of times a coach is allowed to visit each school, nothing is taken for granted and no time is wasted.
Perhaps that's why it was so surprising to see every Texas A&M coach currently on the road make stops by a few Southwest Houston-area schools on Wednesday. The staff headed to Missouri City Hightower, Missouri City Elkins and Fort Bend Marshall to check in on linebacker Shaun Lewis, offensive tackle Jake Matthews and cornerback Toney Hurd Jr., respectively.
