Thomas likes Purdue's academics

GoldandBlack.com Detroit Renaissance's Ishmael Thomas started at quarterback for his team last season, while doubling as an outside linebacker on defense.
Quarterbacking duties have a tendency to dominate the majority of practice time, so the 6-4, 210-pound Thomas did not get much time to refine his skills at the position, but several colleges still liked what they saw of him at the position to offer a scholarship. One of the most recent offers to come his way was from Purdue.
