Jersey back torn between two
Since Tony Jones visited the Univerity of Michigan for the Wolverines' Barbeque back in late May the recruiting process has died down.
Jones has had a hand in making that happen, no doubt. The 5-foot-8, 178-pound prospect appears to be taking a more laid back, wait-and-see approach than some others, in the sense that he does not seem overly anxious to initiate contact with schools he has not yet heard from.
The all-purpose back currently claims offers from Michigan and Boston College, whom he refers to as "Boston", and that's really about all there is to it these days.
"It's just Michigan and Boston right now," Jones said in a recent phone interview. "Right now they're my favorites. You could say that. I can't really say I like one (more than the other). They're about the same. I'd put them both at the top."
The two schools do have one thing in common, and that's partly why Jones has had such a difficult time putting one school ahead of the other thus far.
"They both have good academics. That's basically what I'm looking for, so I like both of them."
Jones went on to say he does not know when he will make his decision. He said he does not think he will be taking any trips or attending any other camps in the month of July, but is open to the possibility.
