Florida lineman holds offer from UK
Depth on the defensive line, more than any other area, is a point of emphasis for the Kentucky football program in this recruiting class. To that end, coach Rich Brooks and staff know have really hit the bricks hard, using contacts in every region they have recruited well in the past.
It looks like the Sunshine State has produced several candidates for the Cats to try and woo to the Bluegrass.
Venice, Fla., standout defensive end Brandon Wilkinson didn't receive his first offer until late in the spring. But the floodgates have opened since then and Wilkinson's offer sheet is almost growing weekly.
"I had a good spring," Wilkinson said. "It seems like my game always cranked up a notch when coaches were watching me. We didn't go to any camps. I like it better when we work on things together here as a team. But now I'll be going to the Florida State camp soon."
