Breakdown - Horns trip Texas Tech; A&M up next
The Texas Longhorns survived and advanced in the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Tournament with a 77-70 win over Texas Tech. Texas big man LaMarcus Aldridge proved to be too much for the Red Raiders, scoring 20 points and pulling down a Big 12 Tournament record 16 rebounds. Aldridge did most of his damage on the offensive glass with 10 and on the defensive end changing multiple shot attempts.
