Iowa State eyes busy Houston WR
If there is one thing Houston (Tex.) Cy Falls wide receiver Roger Holland cannot stand it is down time. Fall may be football season, but the spring easily qualifies as his most hectic time of the year. Between baseball, track and spring football, the 5-foot-11, 178-pound Holland has his plate full and he would have it no other way.
If two sports weren't enough this spring, Holland also took part in spring football at Cy Falls. That was also an opportunity for college coaches to come down and watch him work out. So far, the returns have been positive and an offer from Northwestern is already on the table.
Offers could come soon from Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Michigan State and Nebraska. Coaches from Iowa State, Texas Tech, UTEP, Missouri, Florida and Vanderbilt have visited Cy Falls to watch spring practice.
