McNaul changes plans
In the Camp roll call piece on Eden Prairie, Minn., linebacker Bryce McNaul, he told BadgerBlitz.com that he would be in Madison for the Wisconsin Badgers' one-day camp, which was held Monday.
Then, McNaul seemed excited about the opportunity to work out for linebackers coach Dave Doeren. McNaul had been told by both Doeren and his recruiter, tight ends coach Bob Bostad, that the Badgers needed inside linebackers this recruiting cycle in order to replace senior Mark Zalewski and have a backup for redshirt freshman Elijah Hodge after the upcoming football season.
McNaul has been one of a handful of inside linebackers on the Badgers' radar for sometime now, but the staff is yet to offer the 6-foot-2, 242-pounder.
The chance for an offer could have been Monday for McNaul but he declined attending the one-day session.
