Big night for Booker
In the first half, Lorenzo Booker had 97 receiving yards against the Wolfpack. That surpassed his previous career high in receiving yards. In the third quarter, Booker caught an 8-yard reception to give him his first career 100-yard receiving yard game.
He finished the evening with 4 receptions for 105 yards.
Also, on the evening, the California native passed 2,000 career rushing yards. He becomes the 11th player in school history to reach the 2,000-yard mark on the ground. Booker finished the game with 14 rushes for 58 yards and led the team in both rushing and receiving yards.
Long time since
Florida State's 13-10 lead at the halfway mark is the first time since 2000 that the Seminoles have had a lead over the Wolfpack at the break. Last season, the two teams were tied up at the half, 10-10. In the four meetings prior to that, NC State had the lead at halftime and went on to win two of the four games.
