A win is a win
Arizona won its second straight game Thursday night, taking down Oregon State by a score of 72-66.
Though a victory is a victory, this was a game in which the Wildcats needed to make a statement and instead have left many things in doubt.
This one was close throughout the majority of the first half. Arizona led nearly the entire way but Oregon State managed to keep the game very close, tying the game multiple times.
Both teams were turnover prone in the half, combining for 15 each, but other than that, Arizona executed well on offense and very well on defense, limiting Oregon State to mostly outside shots.
Sasa Cuic was the most effective scorer for OSU head coach Jay John in the first half, laying down 13 points and managing to get open shots by getting defenders to leave their feet.
