Matt Scott commits to Arizona
Arizona's seventh commitment of its 2008 class is a big one, as the Wildcats have landed 6-foot-2, 200-pound Corona (Calif.) Centennial quarterback Matt Scott. Rivals.com's 8th ranked dual-threat QB and 42nd best prospect in California chose the Wildcats on Friday afternoon.
Scott had offers from Arizona, California, Minnesota, Boise State, San Diego State and Utah, but in the end, it came down to the Wildcats and Golden Gophers.
"I actually just committed right now to Arizona," Scott revealed to GOAZCATS.com. "It was a close decision between Arizona and Minnesota. They both have great facilities and they're about equal. But in the end, location was a big factor in my decision."
