IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) Devyn Marble and Aaron White each scored 18 points as Iowa beat Boise State 81-72 Thursday night.

Melsahn Basabe had 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Hawkeyes (8-5), who ended their nonconference schedule with three straight wins.

Boise State (9-4) tied it at 57-57 with 7 minutes remaining, but Iowa scored the next eight points over the next 2 minutes to start a 15-6 run.

Kenny Buckner led the Broncos with 18 points on 9 of 12 shooting. Matt Gatens scored 16 points for Iowa, which had 14 assists on 26 field goals and only five turnovers.

Anthony Drmic, the Broncos' top scorer at 14 points per game - did not play because of a sprained ankle.

The Hawkeyes open Big Ten play against Purdue at home on Wednesday.
