Denard Robinson just laid claim to one more record.

Michigan's senior quarterback was named Big Ten Offensive Player Of The Week for his performance in the Wolverines' 44-13 win at Purdue. It marks the ninth time Robinson has won the award in his career - he is now tied with former Wisconsin running back Ron Dayne, the 1999 Heisman Trophy winner.

It's also the second time Robinson has won the award this season. He also won it after Week Two, when he accounted for 426 yards to total offense in a 31-25 win over Air Force.

Against the Boilermakers, Robinson ran for 235 yards, the third-highest single-game total of his career (277 vs. Indiana in 2010, 258 vs. Notre Dame in 2010).

Robinson finished the game with 3,905 career rushing yards, breaking the Big Ten record for rushing yards by a quarterback, set by former Indiana quarterback Antwaan Randle El (3,895 yards from 1998-2001).

Robinson needs just 575 yards to beat the NCAA record for rushing yards by a quarterback. Former West Virginia quarterback Pat White currently holds the record with 4,480 yards.

It was also the fifth game in which Robinson rushed for 200 or more yards in his career, which ties him for the program record set by former running back Mike Hart (2004-07). Robinson ran for 200-plus yards twice in 2010 (258 at Notre Dame, 277 at Indiana), once in 2011 (200 vs. San Diego State) and has done so twice this season (218 vs. Air Force and 235 at Purdue). The Wolverines are 5-0 win Robinson runs for 200 or more yards.

Robinson added 105 yards and a touchdown through the air.
