Campbell helped lead a Wolverines defense that allowed just 19.8 points per game, ranking fourth in the Big Ten and 20th nationally in scoring defense. Michigan's defense also ranked second in the Big Ten and 13th in the FBS in total yards allowed (320.0 yards per game).
Campbell was chosen in the sixth round with the 178th overall choice and joins former U-M linebacker David Harris (2004-06) with the Jets. Denard Robinson was U-M's other pick, going to Jacksonville in the fifth round.
