September 5, 2013Saturday night's Michigan - Notre Dame is already the most in-demand Michigan home game SeatGeek.com has ever tracked, and the average ticket price of $354 makes it by far the most expensive game of the first two weeks of the college football season.
Notre Dame has never been involved in a more expensive road game than this weekend's since SeatGeek.com began tracking tickets, with the Fighting Irish's visit last year to Oklahoma ($336 average ticket price) next in line.
Among all regular season college football games this year, the game ranks seventh in demand, and Notre Dame is involved in three of those top seven matchups - the other two being when the Irish welcome Oklahoma ($443 average ticket price) and USC ($471) to South Bend later this fall.
For those willing to sit a bit higher, it's worth noting that seats in the top-most rows of the stadium have sold for an average of $214 over the past week. Tickets in the first 60 rows, however, are still going for an average of more than $300 per ticket. The most anyone has paid to date is $1,360 per ticket for seats on the 50-yard line.
Right now on SeatGeek, the cheapest tickets available are listed at $190 per ticket in Section 13, Row 82. All the latest information on ticket prices and availability can be found on SeatGeek's event page for the game: SeatGeek.com.
