Merrill played the point on the PP but that was his only shift.

once or twice more on regular shifts, but really didn't play much at all. Unless Clare is hurt so bad again that he can't play putting Merrill in the line up was really a waste of a spot, he played so little and they sure could have used a defenseman who knows how to play defense.
