I agree Packer and why I suggested you just keep playing all 3 goalies and go with who's playing the best come playoff time. Sit them all down and say look your each getting 4 more starts this season. I'm waiting for one of you to step up and become the goalie we want and need right now. After the season I am going to determine, by your play, who is going to be our playoff goalie and that is who we are going to ride for as long as we can. You do well in the playoffs and your our #1 going into next year.

I think this approach gives all 3 guys the chance to step up and be that guy. It shows the rest of the team that competition is still in place and you expect everyone to work hard and you'll find out who is your best goalie. The team will definitely know after the next 12 games and I suspect one of them will step up and shine brighter then the rest. You hope then your team rallies around him and you can have a successful run in the playoffs.

But, up to now no one has taken charged and IMO doesn't deserve to be called the guy. All three are on the team, because you have had some confidence/faith in all of them. Time to man up and step up and let them know they are all on equal footing now, but after 12 games it will be shaken out so make the best of your next 4 chances while you have it. To me it's a little bit of a reset button for all 3 guys.

I know we aren't in the practice of running off guys, but there comes a point where you have to do what's best for the program and if you have 3 goalies and they all suck, do you just keep all three around because your nice? To me it doesn't have to be a scholarship guy, but after another 12 games who ever is the worse of the three you basically say look your not going to play here anymore so you might want to move on. I'm not going to be able to get you anymore ice time. Heck you could pick up another walk-on if your in need of three guys and I don't see how it's going to get any worse. Maybe even find that diamond in the rough somewhere and bring him in.

I just feel like this is top tier D-I hockey and competition should always be part of the equation and if these guys need their ego stroked or some comfort level they are the man, then maybe there are in the wrong place. There is always added pressure with being a goalie and you need to learn to perform under that pressure.
