Not the first time this has happened. Numerous embarrassing performances, giving up 5 goals/game at home against the likes of Alaska and BG. Wonder what the road trips will be like at Western and Notre Dame.
I don't see any fight in the team captain. Tonight he made the impact of a seldom used fifth line forward. This is the worst team in the CCHA, not the least talented, but the worst team right now.
Alaska had a whole month off before this weekend, and took it to Michigan in both first periods at Yost.
As some players show signs of life, others fade away.
Team is averaging two wins month, on pace for 13.
I fully expect David Brandon to be expressing his displeasure to Red with the on-ice product and repeated level of performance.

Agree with everything except I think Brandon knows enough to give Red a pass for one bad season. I think he has earned that right.
