Do you have any knowledge of his style of play? M could use some physical defenders (the graduation of Pateryn is noticeable this year) as players like Bennett, Serville, Clare, Chiasson and Szuma can't move players or play overly physical.

With players like Downing, de Jong and Lohan arriving, is the staff expecting/or preparing for two D with eligibility to depart?

but the feeling is Merrill is definitely gone. And then Trouba is a risk, and don't be surprised if someone else leaves but not for the NHL.
