Well let's hope Janecyk takes these comments to heart and really works hard over the next 10 days.  I know he would probably like a little down time, but man we need one of these guys to step up and be "the guy" in the second half.  I haven't seen anything out of Rutledge or Racine to make me think they will do it, so Janecyk may just be the one who has to.  He's a Junior, he was there to see Hunwick take the bull by the horns, so to speak, so he knows what it will take (or at least should).

Actually I hope every single one of these guys works their back sides off over the next 10 days.  It's not like anyone has really been burning up the ice this  year, everyone could use some work in one or more aspects of their game.

Will the Captains be running any practices over these 10 days or is it all on the individual players to find ways to work out, skate, and generally continue to prepare to hit the second half hard?
