To be honest, the only reason I brought him us was that I think you brought up the idea of letting him go earlier this season.
While he's not performed on the ice all that well, I also don't think he's been given the right chance by the team in front of him. It could very well be that they never will, but maybe he has skill that we've not seen.
We all thought once Hogan got the #1 moniker from Sauer, we'd be all set, only to find out that the team didn't exactly play well in front of him. And once Hunwick was between the pipes, the style of game changed so much that the team ended up playing brilliantly most of the time he was in goal.
So assuming Rutledge does have skills, he may be as good as what we saw from Racine if the team gives him the same play. Who knows?
Other than if there's an reason Rutledge will be going anywhere else.
