Not that I mind for Saturday, as it allows me to watch the basketball game, but these are unusual start times.

I have not heard any explanation yet, unless TV Networks (BIG, FSD) had some say.
As far as Saturday, the Pistons don't play, so it's not like the trio of the Red Wings/Pistons/Michigan and MSU would be competing for two prime time spots on FSD and FSD+.

Wings play at 7 or 7:30 Saturday. Good hockey TV day.

is that they either moved it up for TV or they are trying to fit in other events. I know there is a swim meet tonight, there may be other things going on in that part of campus.
