I was watching the Flyer-Sabres game last night and Porter was playing for the Sabres. They mentioned it was actually his 9th game of the season. He played well, got his first point of the year with a helper. Played 5 on 5, PP and PK last night. He looked good, hopefully he can finish out the year with them and play well, I hated to see him leave the Avs.

I think Hunwick had an assist in that game as well.
A couple of guys I play hockey with are Sabres fans, and they were commenting on Facebook yesterday or the day before that only like 3 guys on that team were playing well, but they cited Porter as one of them. Seems that he has some fans in Buffalo.
I was actually surprised Palushaj has stuck around. Once they signed O'Reilly he was a healthy sratch for a couple of games and I thought he would be sent down. But, he's worked his way back into the lineup and has played well.
Hunwick has always played well since he's been with the Avs, but Sacco was too stupid of a coach to see it. He is definitely in the 6 man rotation now. Johnson and Wilson came back last night and Hunwick still logged a bunch of time and played very well.
Hunwick notched an assist in Colorado's 2-1 loss in Detroit last week too. He's playing well. Also saw on twitter recently that Matt and his wife recently gave birth to their first child.
