Good grief, I had read/heard some pundits (including Melrose, IIRC) saying that Vancouver was the best "playoff-equipped" team in the Western Conference and could be the West's team in the Stanley Cup finals.

They won't win with Luongo. Surprised they haven't figured that out yet. I'd be curious if they make a run at Ryan Miller. Not saying they'd win it with Miller either, but if Miller has any good years left in him, he'll want to go to a team that might be ready to win.
Vancouver is the team everyone wants to see in the playoffs. Sort of like the early 90s Wings.

Frankly, SJ and Van had about the same number of points. The sweep shocked me, but SJ winning the series isn't surprising.

My fantasy team pulled a Luongo/Canucks move in the semis. Ugh.

Even Anaheim I thought the Sharks would match up well with, so as long as they weren't playing the pesky BlackHawks, I thought Sharks could have a good run. Even the Kings are a better matchup than the Blues, so maybve the Sharks sneak into the conf finals.
