Bosch was itching to get on the field

Among the many 2013 Michigan commitments on the Wolverines' campus, Wheaton (Ill.) St. Francis offensive lineman Kyle Bosch may have been the least comfortable. No, it's not because of the unseasonable 89-degree heat on the practice field, but because he wanted to be out there himself, smacking pads with his future teammates.

Since there is no spring practice for high schools in Illinois, Bosch won't be able to strap on his pads until August. However, at least getting a small taste for live action was enough to tide him over - for now. He plans to be back up to Michigan a couple more times this Spring to take in practices.

Not only were the Wolverines hard at work on the field, but they also looked pretty good doing it. Bosch wasn't able to see the team in bowl preparations, because his high school team was still in the playoffs, but he was surprised at how the team looked coming off a long break from football.

Bosch also spent some time getting to know his future teammates and coaches. He got the chance to continue building a bond with Shane Morris, Wyatt Shallman, and other 2013 commitments, and he also got to spend a little bit of time with offensive line coach Darrell Funk.

Although both parties had family obligations and couldn't sit down for a full meeting face-to-face, Bosch enjoyed the time spent with his future position coach.
