Purdue emerging as popular pick in Leaders Division

As preseason camp came to its conclusion, it was largely assumed Wisconsin would represent the Leaders Division in the Big Ten Championship. Six weeks later, Purdue has become a popular pick thanks to its 3-1 start and encouraging performances.

"There seems to be a little more attention from the Big Ten Network and a few more pundits are raising their expectations for Purdue, and now some of the fans are believing it to be possible, but in all fairness there is still a wait-and-see attitude about this team," GoldandBlack.com publisher Alan Karpick said.
