Offers continue to pour in for Shepard

Houston Cy Ridge quarterback Russell Shepard is one of the top prospects in all of America for the 2009 class, and though he's tried to keep his focus on his team's 2007 season, Shepard has been unavailable to completely escape the recruiting efforts of college coaches.

The dual-threat signal caller and member of the Rivals.com 100 to watch list for 2009, Shepard has yet to take any unofficial visits this fall but he's continued to reel in the offers. Recently, Boston College and Arizona State both extended scholarships, bringing Shepard's total number of invites up to 10.

Arkansas, Alabama, Tulsa, Minnesota, Iowa, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Nebraska have also offered, and Shepard has formed a very early and very flexible list of schools that have grabbed his attention.
