New DT McEvilly is one tough customer

There are several qualities college coaches look for in defensive tackles: they want them to be big, they want them to be fast and they want them to be tough.

Northwestern's recent defensive tackle commitment Sean McEvilly seems to have those bases covered. He's 6-foot-5 and 270 pounds, and Orange (Calif.) Lutheran coach Jon Kunau raves about his speed and athleticism. And as far as toughness goes, the three-star prospect played more than a full year on a torn labrum that required surgery.
