USC biggest game ever for Siewierski

Last Saturday was true senior defensive tackle, Jerzy Siewierski's last football home game as a Bruin. Like all the other seniors it was good for them to walk off the Rose Bowl with a victory. Though Siewierski has been hampered with an injury the latter part of the season. He will play at least one more game for the Bruins.

"It feels great come out of here with a W and I feel like having a dominate defensive performance scoring two defensive touchdowns makes it feel all the much better," Siewierski said. "I'm happy that I could end my career in the Rose Bowl with a win."

Coming out of the tunnel was not a moment that was lost on Siewierski.

"I was thinking it goes by fast," Siewierski said in response to his thoughts coming out of the tunnel last Saturday at the Rose Bowl. "Everybody always says 'that when it comes, you will be saying that it comes by fast' and that's the truth. It went by fast.

"I enjoyed every moment of it," Siewierski said. "I wouldn't change a thing. I enjoyed my experience here at UCLA and what kind of person they helped me become off the field and on the field.

"I took that moment," Siewierski said. "But I was happy."

Siewierski and his senior teammates have one more regular season game tomorrow and that is not lost on the senior defensive tackle.

"This game coming up is the biggest game of my career," Siewierski said. "We're going to have to go out there and have a good performance."
