Brian Price ready for new challenge

Junior defensive tackle, Brian Price, made his decision official today that he is opting for the NFL and will forgo his senior season. Price, his immediate family and Coach Rick Neuheisel met with the media to talk about his decision. The main speakers included Price, his father, Frank Price and Coach Neuheisel.

Brian Price: "This has been a very difficult decision to make, however after talking to my coaches and my family I've decided to forgo my senior season at UCLA. I want to thank Coach Neuheisel for giving me the opportunity to play, I appreciate it. I would like to thank my family and God for blessing me with the opportunity and the abilities he's blessed me with.

"I won't squander the opportunity, like he always tells me. I'd like to thank a couple of coaches, Coach Howard, my position coach, Coach Bullough, Coach Linn, my strength and conditioning coach, without him none of this is possible. A couple of coaches here my freshman year, Coach Dorrell and Coach Walker. I'd like to thank my high school coach, Coach Garrett, for getting me ready for college and Coach Eric Scott for bringing me to UCLA.

Rick Neuheisel: "On behalf of UCLA we want to congratulate Brian for an unbelievably job well done. He worked hard. He did everything we asked of him while here at UCLA. While we would've loved to have had him for his senior year we certainly understand the decision and wish him the very best.
