Rival checks in, but Brown done with visits

In the world of recruiting, it goes without saying that it isn't over, until it's over. Just because you have received a verbal commitment from a prospect, that doesn't necessarily mean that all is well, he is locked down and the recruiting process is over and done with.

The act of giving a public commitment doesn't keep opposing college coaches from attempting to still persuade a given player that they may very well be a better option.

Lithonia (Ga.) Martin Luther King Jr. four-star running back Mack Brown is living proof that rival coaches aren't willing to throw in the towel until the Letter of Intent is signed and faxed in on February 3rd.
