Hoops Update: Post July Evaluation - Part II

In part two our series of post July evaluation BruinBlitz.com will take a look at prospects that the Bruins are looking at the wing guard and wing forward positions.

Fortunately, the 2011 class offers a couple of players who can potentially fill that role. The list is not nearly as long as the point guard list, but the opportunity is there for the program to meet its goals.

His athleticism is off the charts and his skill level continues to get better and better. Some have compared him to Russell Westbrook or Aaron Afflalo. Although those comparisons may not be totally valid, Powell is a very special player. He is a streaky shooter and needs to be a little more consistent, but we are just splitting hairs here. He has suffered from a minor injury this summer and has not always performed at his highest level.
